This guy has written a really cool plugin for Image J that enhances pictographs, and can even make invisible ones appear in digital photos. Seems worth checking out. I've asked for a copy of it. I wonder how it would work on a Mesoamerican Mural like at San Bartolo...

So cool! I finally had time to look at some of his presentations. It would be really exciting to revisit pictograph panel photographs that have been documented at BYU. Especially after we went digital.
Would this work on old color photographs that have been scanned into a computer?
