AP2, our archaeological chariot, is currently in the shop for an assessment to determine if she can continue for ten thousand more miles.
Thoughts and prayers are welcome.
If she does not survive, might I suggest a memorial order. Perhaps, "The Order of the Yukon".
This order would honor those who have shown excellence in the field, research, off-driving skills or whatever else.
Just a way to remember the vehicle most of us has eaten in, slept in, and traveled in for the majority of our burgeoning careers.

Anyone else remember the previous AP2?
Scott suggested we try to find a photo of the old AP2 and then get a photo of the current one, and create a photo timeline.
If they do get it fixed and running again, I suggest that some air freshners be put in. It always smelled like a boys high school locker room. No offense.
True. It does have a funk.
Yes Aaron, I think we need to show the AP2 lineage on the walls at OPA. Get photos of AP2s from as far back as we can and mount them in a line on the wall. Like a geneology of sorts of our beloved mechanical beauty.
so what is the ultimate verdict? I saw Rich driving it today.
Scott, we could start with the photo of the bogged-down Blazer and go from there.
