Mucky Mucks, or no mucky mucks
The question at hand? Do we involve the Mucky-mucks in our forum? Granted, there is a social element to FremontFarmers, but I do believe that there should be honest academic discourse regarding the Fremont.
I don't know. I think we get enough of them outside of the blog world. Maybe we can inquire of their intelligence through e-mail. Plus, I'm afraid I might say something I regret.
I agree with Mike, I too have fear of saying something weird. We could probably maintain a decent academic forum through e-mails. There is nothing that says we couldn't post an e-mail from one of the Muckies. I'm just not sure how we would approach it since most of the time we just go and ask them our questions. As far as the involvement of Rich or Lane, I whole heartedly concur.

I see the point of that, but I would like to try to get Rich or Lane to occasionally drop in.

I think "saying something weird" is not what I meant, it's more along the lines of what Mike said, "saying something I regret".
